It is one of the most glamorous events on the film calendar, with a small fortune spent on parties, champagne and red carpet gowns.
But a British zombie movie, which cost just £45 to make, could be a surprise success story amongst the decadence of the Cannes Film Festival.
The makers of Colin, which is told from the zombie's point of view, shot their film on a camcorder and persuaded actors and make-up artists to donate their service for free.
